Alison Rothman CMT CYT is a longtime practitioner of the healing arts and is devoted to embodying life as a spiritual path. Alison is a holistic healer with extensive experience and knowledge in the realm of the body through movement (yoga and dance), somatic therapeutic inquiry, meditation and mindfulness, and natural health and healing. She specializes in working holistically with women in recovery from eating disorders and traumatic experiences. Alison has personal experience in embodied healing and is committed to supporting women on their path. She has healed herself of a debilitating eating disorder and has been in active recovery for 20 years. She has also transcended several traumatic and life threatening experiences.
Alison is an advocate for women. She has a gift for her empathic presence and an unwavering capacity to support women to embody who they are, release debilitating tensions in the body, reclaim their wholeness, and find true empowerment. Alison carries with her an embodied understanding of the wisdom and intelligence of the body. This aids her in supporting clients and students in tapping into their innate bodily wisdom; finding more ease, grace, and power in life.
Alison brings to her sessions a deep intimacy with herself, her own process of life experiences, and a passion for supporting and inspiring others in utilizing the magic of everyday living as medicine for growth and healing. She leads retreats, teaches classes, and speaks locally and internationally.
