Falling Into Self in Community:
An Embodied Women’s Retreat
in Twin Lakes, Colorado
October 9–11, 2026 | Friday 5:00pm – Sunday 11:00am
with Alison Rothman
Autumn teaches us how to release with grace—how to trust the intelligence of cycles, rest, and renewal.
Falling Into Self in Community
A deeply nourishing embodied retreat for women who are longing to slow down, recalibrate, and reconnect with themselves in meaningful and authentic community. Set in the Colorado mountains during late Fall, this retreat offers a spacious pause from daily demands and an opportunity to land fully in your body, your breath, and your inner knowing.
This experience is about unwinding, listening inwardly, liberating energy, and allowing space for what is ready to soften, shift, or be released.
The Experience
The retreat weaves together a thoughtful and supportive curriculum designed to meet women where they are—physically, emotionally, and energetically.
Practices will include:
Embodied and unwinding yoga
Quiet meditation and nervous system support
Reflective writing and self-inquiry
Safe women’s circles and shared dialogue
Dance and intuitive movement
Ceremony and seasonal ritual
Time for rest, integration, and connection with nature
Each element is offered with care, choice, and spaciousness, honoring the unique rhythms and needs of each woman.
Who this journey is for…
This retreat welcomes women at any stage of life who feel called to:
Slow down and come home to themselves
Move their bodies and energy through various embodiment practices
Be held in safe, intentional community
Navigate transition, change, or quiet inner inquiry
Reconnect with their body as a source of wisdom
Bring deeper meaning to the seasonal transitions
Find that exhale in midst of the swirls of everyday life
Explore new practices to enhance their lives
No prior experience with yoga, dance, or embodiment practices is required.
Why this retreat? Why now?
We are living in wild times, there is no doubt. We need safe containers of community more than ever. Choosing to step away from our lives and dive into practice and process with other women on the path, feels to be essential to staying upright and connected to ourselves in midst of the swirls of the outer world.
Autumn reminds us that release is woven into the rhythm of life. It is an opportunity to tap deeper into the wisdom that we innately hold in our bodies and provides the platform for its authentic expression.
In a culture that constantly asks us to push forward, this retreat offers a different invitation: to pause, to soften, and to trust the intelligence of the body and the cycles of life.
Gathering in community during this season creates a powerful field of support, reflection, and remembrance that we are not meant to do this life alone.
