Tapping into the Fire

How are you stepping into the New Year of the Fire Horse?

The energy has certainly shifted course in the past few weeks. The change of the year from the snake to the horse in combination with Eclipse season.... things have felt intensified and electric.

We are all still finding our footing in this new energy, yet feels to me that we are receiving glimmers of a new way of living, being, and relating to ourselves, each other, and the world around us.

The veils have been stripped away...a deep shedding from a soul-stirring year in the dance of the snake, and now we are being propelled forward.

Into some unknown territories, without a doubt, yet when we truly inhabit our bodies and our hearts we gain the capacity to breathe trust into our bones and feel that safety from within.

As with any transition it can feel sticky, uncomfortable, and uncertain...yet on the other side of that is a bubbling of hope, of possibility, of new life, of a reimagined way of existing.

That, to me, is exciting.

In midst of the extreme outer turmoil that this country and the world on the whole are navigating can we choose, every day, to focus on our energy on hope, possibility, excitement, love, and connection?

Giving our precious life force energy to the fear and chaos will only enable it to build. This is not bypassing. this is choosing to stay informed yet being mindful of how we are directing our energy.

The truth is that life is uncertain. It always has been.

Why not choose to live it fully....in this moment, with the resources that we have accessible to us?  To use our time and energy for growth and possibility… living from our hearts....spreading love, kindness, hope, and possibility.

That, to me, is effective resistance and is a powerful choice for self and each other.
