Sharing Ourselves in Safety

Everyone wants to be seen and heard for exactly who they are and what they have navigated in their lives. This is a natural and healthy need to have as a human.

Who in your life is supportive of your evolution?
Who brings light and inspiration to your process?
Who, perhaps, squashes your flame?
What relationships provide a grounded platform for healing and which ones perpetuate the dysfunction/pain/struggle/challenge?
Do you have relationships and/or community that you can be
really real with?

Our society has not set up the possibility for many to have this need met without judgment, shame, blame, and/or feeling as though there is something "wrong" with them for feeling how they do and/or experiencing what they have.

Our stories of life are powerful and have formed the foundation of who we are. Sharing our stories is pure liberation and provides the opportunity to shed layers of shame and angst, heal, repair, embrace, and embody who we truly are.

For years, I pulled things wayyyy IN...out of self-imposed isolation given the immense amount of responsibility that was on my plate, but also because I felt very judged by the outside world around the unfolding of so many excruciating and gutting events that were taking place in my life.

I learned A LOT during those years of isolation and inquiry.  I learned about myself and my capacity to navigate extreme trauma while taking care of a young one alone, I learned about basic human needs and how to get them met, I learned who my "real" people were and who I could lean into no matter what, I learned that it is absolutely CRUCIAL to be authentic and real and vulnerable....that there is no time for BS.

And, I learned that we heal when we are in safe, supportive communities and containers of women all doing their individual work.

After decades of exploration in the realm of holistic wellness and healing, embodiment work and practice, meditation and yoga, conscious dance and movement, ceremony and ritual, the power of creative expression, movement-based rites of passage work, and an array of somatic therapy practices....my offerings were birthed (and, ever evolving!!).

Sitting in safe, therapeutic, supportive, empowering women's circles in combination with embodiment practices, intentional rituals and ceremonies, writing and art, meditation and movement....is a deeply transformational approach to healing.

My work is rich with wisdom and experience and the container that I hold is in integrity and alignment with utter respect, love, care, and compassion for this wild human experience.

I offer an array of iterations of this foundational curriculum in circles/groups/1:1 work, and retreats. All are powerful in their own right. I would love to connect and support in any way that I can and am always out here, in service.

I am passionate about ushering humanity through this potent portal of change and transformation.

As you are reading these words, myself along with an amazing and courageous group of women, are setting sail on another Mid-Summer Women's Wellness Retreat at Joyful Journey Hot Springs!

This annual retreat is pure magic and truly has propelled so many women to take steps forward in their lives in palpable, sustainable, and embodied ways.

I do not take my "job" lightly and have prepared for the past many months for this weekend so as to support each of them to feel safe and supported in a container of love, compassion, and respect. I strive to create the ground for women to land in themselves, to unwind all that they have been carrying, move the energy that they need to, and open up to new possibilities of living and being.

The long and short of it (this message!), is that it it is so crucial to create the opportunities to be in supportiveand safe relationships. Those where we can feel seen and honored for our humanness...the messy, chaotic, beautiful, confusing, overwhelming, anxious, unknown, uncertain evolutionary process.

Some are blessed with this in their friendships, partnerships, and/or community, yet most of us need more therapeutic containers for our process. There is no shame in seeking help! In fact, that ask could be the most empowering and life-enhancing step you could take on your own behalf.

I would be honored to connect with any of you along your journey of life either 1:1 in my sweet office, on Zoom, and/or in a group or retreat setting.

I am always out here for connection and support! You can reply directly to this email or schedule a 20-minute chat time.

Take good care of yourselves and
be kind to each other.
